Picked fresh from our garden purslane, or verdolaga, is an ewe sacred to Orisha that is known for its ceremonial, ritual, and magical uses.

Purslane is traditionally used to ward off evil spirits, induce lucid dreaming, bring peace into the home, and is an ingredient for making ormiero. Medicinally purslane is packed with nutrients, is completely edible, reduced inflammation, supports the immune system, and increases heart health.
